Amazon Restoration Company (ARC) is looking for a Community Extensionist / Técnico de Extensión Comunitaria to join our team in Pucallpa, Peru.
This is a field-based role working directly with rural and native communities and local producers participating in ARC’s forestry programme in Ucayali and Huánuco. The position combines community engagement with technical support, including identifying and accompanying participating producers, providing training and technical assistance, supporting the establishment and management of forest plantations, and coordinating with community leaders, producer associations and other local stakeholders.
We are looking for a forestry, agronomy or related professional with a strong social orientation and experience working with local producers and rural or native communities. The position is based in Pucallpa, with significant fieldwork throughout ARC’s project area.
