Amazon Restoration Company (ARC) is looking for a Forestry Monitoring Assistant / Asistente de Monitoreo Forestal to join our team in Pucallpa, Peru.
The role supports the planning, implementation and monitoring of ARC’s forestry and restoration activities in Ucayali and Huánuco. Responsibilities include field monitoring of forest plantations, nurseries and participating local producers, forest inventories and data collection, preparation of maps and technical reports, and support for ARC’s carbon and FSC certification processes.
We are looking for a forestry, environmental or related professional with relevant field experience and a strong interest in forest restoration and sustainable forestry. The position is based in Pucallpa, with significant fieldwork in rural and native communities within ARC’s project area.
